PC Storm Brand and PC James Bedding said:  “It's extremely concerning that people are driving under the influence of drugs and alcohol despite knowing the enormous risk to members of the public and our community as a whole.

"Drugs and weapons will not be tolerated and officers will continue to be pro-active within the community in order to deal with those who think this behaviour is acceptable.”

PC  Beth Collins said:  “This has been a very positive set of pro-active shifts resulting in numerous arrests that will hopefully result in driving bans, in turn keeping drug drivers off our road and our community safer."

If you have any information in relation to people driving under the influence of drugs/alcohol or carrying weapons then please do not hesitate to call 101 or 999 in an emergency.   You can also report anonymously via Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
