Crimes will be listed by location under the headings of Salisbury, Alderbury (area traditionally policed from Alderbury Police Stn) and Wilton (area traditionally policed from Wilton Police Stn).

Please find below a summary of local crimes which have been reported since Saturday 25th January 2020. (Please note this is a summary, it is not possible to list all crimes due to confidentiality issues e.g. some violent offences or for domestic disputes).

54200009040 – Criminal Damage 26/01/2020 - DEVIZES ROAD, SALISBURY Unknown suspects have smashed the windscreen of parked car by standing on the bonnet and kicking it.

54200009624 - Crime – Criminal Damage 28/01/2020- ST PAULS ROAD, SALISBURY Unknown suspect has punched the wing mirror of parked vehicle causing it to smash and fall off the car.

54200009661 - Crime – Criminal Damage 28/01/2020 -THE GREENCROFT, SALISBURY Suspect smashed nearside rear passenger window of parked vehicle -nothing stolen

54200010398 - Crime – Theft 30/01/2020 - BROWN STREET, SALISBURY Owner padlocked his bike outside of pub on Brown Street, on his return his bike had gone. CCTV enqs ongoing

54200010916 - Crime – Theft 31/01/2020 MILFORD MILL RD - Unknown suspect/s have climbed over a gate at yard and have stolen 4 x pony rugs by cutting the baler twine they were hanging from.

54200010954 - Crime - Burglary 31/01/2020 WOODSIDE ROAD, BEMERTON HEATH, SALISBURY -unknown suspect(s) have gained entry to a building attached to house. They have taken multiple items and left. Stolen property – 2 x chainsaws, a blower, hedge cutter and electric drill

54200010957 - Crime – Theft 31/01/2020 - CATHERINE STREET, SALISBURY - Unknown suspect has stolen blue leather purse, which was in an open bag on the top of other items.

54200011133 - Crime – Criminal Damage -01/02/2020 - STRATFORD SUB CASTLE - vehicle windscreen has been struck by unknown object and has cracked it.

54200011170 - Crime – Criminal Damage - 01/02/2020 FISHERTON STREET, SALISBURY - Unknown suspects have caused damage to the company signage on the street by breaking it off the wall mounting

54200011638 -Crime – Criminal Damage 03/02/2020 SALISBURY LIBRARY -  Bicycle left by the Library on Saturday 1st Feb about 09:00, on return the bike had been damaged. Saw used to cause the damage to the bicycle.

54200012394 -Crime – Theft 05/02/2020 CATHERINE STREET, SALISBURY - Unknown suspect has removed a green and white Carrera bicycle which had been chained outside noodle camp.

54200012402 - Crime – Criminal Damage 05/02/2020 QUEEN ALEXANDRA ROAD, SALISBURY – Suspects used catapult to fire ball bearing at driver’s side window of parked vehicle

54200012632 - Crime – Criminal Damage 05/02/2020 TOURNAMENT ROAD, SALISBURY- 2 x small ball bearings fired at window (possibly from a catapult) causing damage.

54200012647 -Crime – Theft 05/02/2020 SWIFTDOWN, HARNHAM - Unknown suspect(s) have entered front garden and stolen 2x Apollo Radar bikes which were stored under a cover

Alderbury community area

54200008594 25/01/2020 - Criminal Damage, JOANNA CLOSE, DOWNTON, Unknown suspect has fired a ball bearing at a vehicle causing a small dent on the rear of the car - the ball bearing found on the road next to the car.

54200008682 25/01/2020 - Criminal Damage, ROMAN MEADOW, DOWNTON,  Unknown suspect(s) have keyed the driver side of a van from front end to the back.

54200008851 26/01/2020 - Burglary Business and Community, REDLYNCH SOCIAL CLUB, THE RIDGE, WOODFALLS, The intruder alarm has been activated following entry gained to the premises, after suspect(s) have damaged the security lighting and smashed a side window. The suspect(s) have carried out untidy searches in rooms within the building, before making off with 2 safe's that contained cash, along with a collection box, after forcing open the shutters over the bar.

54200009597 28/01/2020 - Burglary Business and Community, ST ANDREWS CHURCH, CHURCH ROAD, LAVERSTOCK   Unknown person has gained entry via the rear, smashing a window. Untidy search of building but nothing taken.

54200009935 29/01/2020 - Criminal Damage, MORGANS RISE ROAD, MORGANS VALE  - Unknown suspect has caused damage to a vehicle using an unknown object causing a scuff mark on the passenger side and the wing mirror to be smashed and the plastic knocked off also on the passenger side.

54200010035 29/01/2020 - Burglary Residential, DOWN VIEW ROAD, LAVERSTOCK, Unknown suspect has gained entry to the address and stolen a Playstation and a Now TV box valued approximately £60-70.

54200010271 29/01/2020 - Vehicle Offences, MARSHMEAD CLOSE, CLARENDON, SALISBURY, Unknown offender has removed the number plates from a vehicle.

54200010396 30/01/2020 -Criminal Damage, WHITSBURY ROAD, ODSTOCK  An unknown suspect has slashed all four tyres of a vehicle by unknown means . The vehicle parked in the carpark of a pub.

54200011157 01/02/2020 - Theft, CASTLE MEADOW, DOWNTON, SALISBURY,  Unknown suspect(s) have stolen 2 pints of milk from a doorstep. 

54200011162 01/02/2020 - Theft, CASTLE MEADOW, DOWNTON, SALISBURY, Unknown suspect(s) have stolen milk from a doorstep.

54200011667 03/02/2020 - Criminal Damage, RECTORY ROAD, ALDERBURY, SALISBURY,  Unknown suspect(s) have gained entry via unknown means to the site and smashed 2 windows in a digger and cut cords and smashed a whacker, stolen spades and brushes which were found down the road.

54200012087 04/02/2020 - Burglary Residential, DROVE LANE, COOMBE BISSETT - Unknown suspect(s) have broken in to a workshop during the night and have stolen a Stihl ms181 chain saw

54200012419 05/02/2020 - Theft, SLAB LANE, WOODFALLS, SALISBURY,  Unknown suspect has stolen a box containing 2x pints of milk from the front door step

Wilton community area

54200009109 27/01/2020 - Vehicle Offences, THE AVENUE, WILTON - Unknown suspect(s) have gained entry to a secure yard over the 7ft surrounding wall and syphoned diesel fuel from 4 x 7.5 tonnes vehicles, including a sweeper and a gulley tanker. 400 litres of fuel stolen

54200011892 03/02/2020 - Burglary Residential, THE HOLLOWS, WILTON - Unknown suspect have tried to gain entry to the garage by cutting through the lock on the garage with an unknown tool nothing has been stolen as entry was not successful.

54200012409 05/02/2020 - Vehicle Offences, NETHERHAMPTON ROAD, NETHERHAMPTON Unknown suspect(s) have stolen Diesel from a lorry

54200012411 05/02/2020 08:24 hours Vehicle Offences, NETHERHAMPTON ROAD, NETHERHAMPTON - Unknown suspect(s) have tampered with the battery box on the side of a  lorry, the attempt was unsuccessful.
