Alert message sent 19/02/2020 16:18:00

Information sent on behalf of Wiltshire Police

We’re appealing for witnesses after an incident involving dogs and two owners in Chippenham.

Between 11.30 and midday on Wednesday 5 February, a woman’s Akita Inu dog was tied up outside Greggs in the High Street when it was attacked by a Staffordshire Bull Terrier and a French bulldog which were not on leads.

The male, who was with both dogs, then became aggressive towards the woman after she’d challenged him.

The male was wearing a quilted Puffa coat, navy jeans, grey/blue hat and had blue tooth earphones around his neck.

If you heard or saw this incident or know anything about this, please contact us on 101 quoting crime reference number 54200012559.
