CRIME UPDATES (MELKSHAM)  – 25/02/20– 02/03/20

Crime - Violence Against the Person

HIGH STREET, MELKSHAM, (ED11) at 0320 hours on Sunday 2nd March a disorder occurred following a disagreement.  There was a scuffle where one person sustained a minor injury.

Crime – Criminal Damage

ROWLEY PLACE, MELKSHAM,  (ED11) Between 01/03/20 at 0930 hours to 02/03/20 at 0900 hours, a suspect has broken the windscreen of the victim's parked and unattended vehicle.

Transport - Road related offence

BATH ROAD, MELKSHAM (ED11) A vehicle stopped by police and the driver arrested suspicion of driving whilst over the prescribed limit. 

Crime - Drug Offence
26/02/2020 02:45
SANDRIDGE COMMON, MELKSHAM, (ED12) Following a stop search on 26/02/20 at 0245 hours of male from Melksham, a small quantity of drugs were located.  A cannabis street warning was issued.

Transport - Road related offence
25/02/2020 15:10
BATH ROAD, MELKSHAM  (ED12) At 1510 hours on 25/02/2020 a vehicle was stopped by officers and a breath test conducted.  The driver blew 67 at the roadside and subsequently arrested.  A 51 year old male from the Bath area has been charged with driving a motor vehicle whilst over the prescribed limit.
