Update on Operation Samphire week of action targeting county lines drugs gangs

You may remember back in January we ran a week of action called Operation Samphire which saw us targeting county lines drugs gangs in Swindon.

In total we arrested 61 people during the week.

Extensive work has been ongoing since then and we wanted to update you.

So far we have charged nine people as follows:

Blair Egerton, 32, of Manor Crescent, Moredon, charged with two counts of being concerned in the supply of class A drugs.

Sarah Scott, 34, of Ramsbury Avenue, Penhill, charged with nine counts of being concerned in the supply of class A drugs

Katie Donnelly, 37, of no fixed address, Swindon, charged with two counts of class A drug supply

Kyle Ricketts, 20, of Jenni Manners Court, Westlea, charged with supply of class A drugs.

Kenneth Cox, 44, of Penhill, charged with three counts of supplying class A drugs

Craig Murray, 41, of no fixed address, Swindon, charged with four counts of supplying class A drugs

Brandon Rouse-McCue, 23, of Lyndhurst Crescent, Park North, charged with being concerned in the supply of class A drugs and two counts of supplying class A drugs.

Omar Ibrahim, 22, of Leytonstone, Waltham Forest, London charged with five counts of supplying class A drugs

Kyle Menham, 21, of Thornbridge Avenue, Swindon, charged with nine counts of being concerned in the supply of class A drugs.

All are due to appear at Swindon Magistrates Court on March 18.
