Alert message sent 07/04/2020 18:43:00

Information sent on behalf of Wiltshire Police

Three push-bikes have been recovered by officers in Swindon who now want to reunite them with their owners.

In the early hours of this morning (07/04),  two males dressed in black with their hoods up and faces covered were seen cycling together along Groundwell Road.

One of the males was cycling and pushing a third bike.

Officers flashed their blue lights at which point the male dropped the additional bike and both cycled off at speed away towards Drove Road.   Moments later they were seen heading from Drove Road towards Cumberland Road and then on to Calvert Road where they split.  However, soon afterwards both were stopped by officers.

A 14 and 19-year-old male from Swindon were arrested on suspicion of stealing pedal cycles.  They have been released under investigation.

Pictures of the three cycles are in this link.  If you recognise them please contact us on 101 quoting crime reference number 54200033515.
