Alert message sent 14/04/2020 11:42:00

Information sent on behalf of Wiltshire Police

We're appealing for witnesses after a series of incidents where cars parked in Wroughton were damaged.

Six incidents of criminal damage, which took place over the period of Sunday 29 March to Tuesday 7 April, have been reported to us.

The majority involved smashed rear windscreens; also there was one report of a damaged bonnet and one of a broken wing mirror.

The cars were parked in various streets in the northern area of the village, including:  Summerhouse Road, Boness Road and St John Road.

PCSO Emma Turner said: "We would like to speak to anyone who may have heard or seen anything suspicious in this area during this time period.
"We also had a report of two young people on mountain bikes in the area at the time of one of these incidents.  One of the bikes seen was quite distinctive as it had reflectors on its wheels.
"If you know anything about these incidents or the two riders on bikes please contact us on 101 quoting crime reference number 54200032980."
