DUNCH LANE, MELKSHAM, (ED11) A male offender on a pushbike has assaulted a male victim, pulling him off his bike causing minor injuries and damage to clothing and headphones.

BERRYFIELD PARK, MELKSHAM, (ED12) Overnight on the an offender has gained entry to a garden shed and stolen a quantity of tools. Investigation suggests the offender is known to the suspect.

CORNCOCKLE CLOSE, MELKSHAM, (ED12) Between 0100 and 1500 hours on the 19th May an offender has put glue in the door lock to a property causing damage.

SPOUT LANE, SEEND, (ED13) An offender has removed the headlamps and indicators from a farm teleporter which was parked up overnight in a yard.

LANCASTER ROAD, BOWERHILL,  (ED12) An offender has stolen a Peugeot Partner Van which was parked up and unattended on the road with flat tyres and a broken wing mirror for the last 2 months.

Transport - Road related offence, drugs and offensive weapon

A350, MELKSHAM  (ED12) Officers on routine patrol stop checked a vehicle with 2 adult males on board. During the stop, a drug test and search was carried out. The driver subsequently failed a drug swipe test and was arrested on suspicion of drug driving and possession of a class B drug. The passenger was also searched and arrested on suspicion of possession of class A and Class B drugs, and possession of a bladed article (A knife). Both males, in their teens, one from Malmesbury, and the other from Somerset, were later released RUI (Under Police Investigation)

TRENT CRESCENT, MELKSHAM, (ED11) Overnight on the 19th May an offender has slashed the tyres on 2 vehicles  parked on the driveway to a property. Enquiries suggest the offender is known to the family. Enquiries are ongoing.

BATH ROAD, MELKSHAM, (ED11) Officers on routine patrol have stop checked a female driver. Enquiries led them to conduct a drug swipe test which the driver failed. The female driver was arrested on suspicion of drug driving. The woman, in her 20’s from Melksham was later released RUI (Under Police Investigation)

LONGFORD ROAD, MELKSHAM, (ED11) Sometime between the 22nd -25th May a driver has committed a fail to stop and report road traffic collision. Two Parked an unattended vehicles were hit, causing damage.

CHILTERN CLOSE, MELKSHAM, (ED11) Overnight on the 20th May an offender has used a sharp implement and stabbed the car tyres on two parked and unattended vehicles. Early investigation suggests the offender is known to the victim. Enquiries are ongoing at this time.
