Information sent on behalf of Wiltshire Police

We're appealing for witnesses after a van fire in Swindon town centre.

On Saturday 13 June at approximately 11am, a white VW van, parked in Havelock Square car park, was substantially damaged by fire.

PC Kayne Borresen said:  "We are trying to establish if this vehicle caught fire accidentally or was caused by someone deliberately setting fire to it.
"It was broad daylight on a Saturday in the town centre, so several people would have been around and someone may have witnessed something suspicious.
"If that was you, please contact us on 101 quoting crime reference number 54200056262."

Alternatively, you can report anonymously via Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
