CRIME UPDATES (MELKSHAM) – 15/06/20 – 22/06/20

Crime – Vehicle offences

PENNINE CLOSE, MELKSHAM, (ED11) Between the 12th and 15th June an offender has smashed the front passenger window on a vehicle, possibly with a beer bottle. Nothing believed stolen from within

Crime – Criminal Damage

DORSET CRESCENT, MELKSHAM, (ED11) Between 1100-1500 hours on the 15th of June an offender has smashed the front driver's side window of a car, however there are grass cuttings, wood and branches debris in and  around it so may have happened as a result of this.

HURRICANE ROAD, BOWERHILL, (ED12) Overnight on the 15th June an offender has thrown eggs all over a parked and unattended vehicle.

Crime - Theft

BLACKMORE ROAD, MELKSHAM, (ED11) Distraction theft. 2nd June between 0930 and 1130 hours. While a member of the public was withdrawing cash from a cash machine, they were distracted by one male, and a second male stolen the cash from the machine. Both made off. No descriptions of offenders at this stage. Enquiries with CCTV are ongoing.

ASQUITH AVENUE, MELKSHAM, (ED12) AT around 2030 hours on the 20th June an intoxicated male has jumped up and down on the bonnet and roof of a parked and unattended vehicle. Police enquiries have identified the offender and enquiries are ongoing at this time.
