Information sent on behalf of Wiltshire Police

Getting the most out of Community Messaging means having your contact information and interests as up-to-date as possible. It helps us to provide you with messages tailored to your interests and your Community Policing Team Area.

These days many people have CCTV installed at their home as well as businesses using CCTV to monitor their premises. Have you included this in your lists of interests? Doing so could help us fight crime where you live or work.

You may have a doorbell video camera, or CCTV that covers your garden or garage at home; possibly you are one of the many business subscribers that has CCTV inside or outside your premises? If so we are asking you to check that your contact details are still current and add your CCTV ownership to your account profile.

It is easy to do. Just sign in to your account at www.wiltsmessaging.co.uk and open the ‘Edit your details’ section. Here, on the left hand side, you will find the ‘Community Interests’ link that will open the window below. There are a number of tick boxes including one for CCTV Operators/Owners. Please tick that box and save the change.

And that’s it. By letting us know you have CCTV it could help us to fight crime in your area.

Many thanks for your support of Community Messaging.
