Witnesses sought following spate of vandalism in Westbury

Alert message sent 28/07/2020 10:35:00

Information sent on behalf of Wiltshire Police

We are appealing for witnesses following a spate of vandalism at an address in Westbury.
Over the course of just under a month between June 26 and July 20, the property in Alfred Street was targeted on two separate occasions by vandals who have caused damage to the house as well as vehicles parked at the address.
A further two incidents of damage to a property has also occurred at a nearby address in Gibbs Close which we believe may be linked.
PC Lauren Fairley said: “We believe the damage, which has involved graffiti on the wall of the house and scratching the bonnet and side of the car with a sharp object, has been carried out as part of a targeted and malicious attack. This is causing upset and distress to those living at the address.
“We are appealing to anyone in the local area who may have seen anything out of the ordinary or someone repeatedly visiting the area to come forward with any information.
“If anyone has any CCTV of the area from the dates involved, please contact us by calling 101 and quoting crime reference number 54200071368.
“Alternatively, you can call Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 to report anonymously."
