Information sent on behalf of Wiltshire and Swindon NHW

Wiltshire Neighbourhood Watch Association
AGM cancelled
To all members
Due to COVID-19 restrictions the re-arranged AGM planned for Saturday 10th October has now been cancelled.  The AGM would have provided an ideal opportunity to update NHW scheme members about the work being undertaken by Wiltshire Police to revitalise Neighbourhood Policing across Wiltshire and Swindon.  Neighbourhood Policing is a key element of 'A Policing Model fit for the Future' initiated by Wiltshire Police in March of this year.  Wiltshire NHW Association has an important role to play in supporting the police in ensuring that communities, both large and small, are perceived to be safe places to live and as free of crime as possible.  Your contribution in supporting your local NHW scheme is highly valued.
One priority for our Association is developing stronger links with each of the eight Community Policing Teams (CPT) - Amesbury, Chippenham, Devizes, Royal Wootton Bassett, Salisbury, Swindon, Trowbridge and Warminster.  We currently have vacancies on our committee for anyone who lives in the Amesbury, Devizes and Royal Wootton Bassett CPT areas and I would welcome any member contacting me who would wish to make a strategic contribution to developing links between NHW and Neighbourhood Policing Teams in those localities.
If members are interested in NHW signage or obtaining newly published Wiltshire NHW information leaflets including window stickers or have any other query, do contact me on the address below.
