Witness appeal following road traffic collision near Devizes

We're appealing for witnesses following a road traffic collision where a car ended up in a ditch. 

We were called by our colleagues at the South Western Ambulance Service to the single vehicle collision at approximately 8.30pm yesterday (14/11) on the A361 at Caen Hill, Devizes.  A Mazda MX5 had come off the road and crashed into a ditch. 

The 19-year-old male driver was taken to the RUH with minor injuries.  His 20-year-old female passenger was taken to Southmead Hospital with possible life threatening/life changing injuries.  

The road was closed for approximately seven hours to allow our officers to carry out their investigations; it reopened at 3.45am.
