Memorial Fundraiser

Information sent on behalf of Wiltshire Police

The neighbours of Aneta and Nikoleta Zdun, who were tragically murdered in June this year, have begun a fundraiser to build a memorial dedicated to their memory in Salisbury:

https://www.justgiving.com/crowdfunding/anetaandnikoletamemorial?utm_term=zRJG664ZG

The memorial is will give their friends, neighbours, and relatives who may not be able to visit their graves in Poland an opportunity to grieve and remember them.

The man running the fundraiser was one of the brave members of the public who not only helped to save the two younger children, but also assisted in apprehending the suspect and ensured that Police officers got to the victims as quickly as possible. As if that wasn’t enough, he now wants to help the people in the community impacted by this tragedy to heal. To call him generous is an understatement...

He’s not looking to raise much, but we know it would make his Christmas if he could reach his target (or maybe even exceed it). So please consider donating, even a small amount or just sharing the link with others will make a huge difference. We will work with him to keep you all updated on the fundraiser and we will make sure we share the details of the memorial once they have been decided.

Thank you for taking the time to read this message, and Merry Christmas from the Salisbury Community Policing Team.
