Please find below a summary of local impactive crimes, considered suitable for public dissemination, within the Warminster Community Area.

WESTBURY – Aggrieved person has employed a male to assist her in clearing her house of clutter following her husband’s death. The male had agreed to help her set up internet banking to enable her to pay him. The sum of approximately £7000 has been paid by the male to himself despite her expecting to pay only £440.

WESTBURY - ONE STOP COMMUNITY STORES - 3 unknown young males all dressed in similar colour clothing have come into the store proceeded to stuff items in their clothing, when deterred by other customer have made their way to another part of the store. When asked by reporting person to empty their pockets and return items they have refused and have left the store. There is CCTV showing all events. Items to the value of £5.

COULSTON - An unknown group of suspects appear to have been purposefully chasing and scaring the deer at location. Reporting person states it looks like a family, with one of them looking to be encouraging the children to chase them and filming them. The Reporting Person found this upsetting to watch as the animals appeared distressed.

DEVON DRIVE - Unknown suspect has scratched the complete side of a vehicle which belongs to the reporting person with the use of what is believed to be a key or similar sharp object.

DEVON DRIVE - Unknown suspect has damaged the reporting person's car whilst it was parked on her drive overnight using an unknown object and has keyed the front and rear nearside doors on the vehicle. Unknown the cost to repair.
