Information sent on behalf of Wiltshire Police

The Home Office is seeking nominations for the Lord Ferrers Awards to recognise the vital role volunteers play in policing.
Awarded annually, the Lord Ferrers Awards are open to a wide range of policing volunteers across 11 individual and team categories. The awards were postponed in 2020 due to COVID-19 and, therefore, this year, the Awards will celebrate volunteers in policing across 2020 and 2021.
Through giving up their free time, volunteers make communities safer and enhance the effectiveness of policing across England and Wales and we want to recognise this, particularly at a time when voluntary activity across the country has made such a big difference to so many.
If you would like to nominate a police volunteer use the following link to find out more about the awards and how ro do so. Lord Ferrers Awards

The deadline for nominations is Monday 12 July 2021.
