Alert message sent 06/08/2021 09:37:00

Information sent on behalf of Wiltshire and Swindon NHW

Wiltshire Neighbourhood Watch Association will launch its new website on Wednesday 11th August at www.wiltshirenhw.org
The aims of our improved website are to stimulate interest in the role of NHW across Wiltshire and Swindon, provide information and support to members as well as respond to 'start-up' scheme enquiries.  The website will also include the latest news update as well as crime prevention campaign information.
Our decision to improve our website also serves to acknowledge the essential contribution made by scheme co-ordinators and members whose role in supporting NHW in local communities is valued and appreciated.
The website content includes information such as 'Report a Crime' with a link to the Wiltshire Police On-line Crime Reporting Form.  New to the improved website is Members' Stories which aims to share news about what is going on around the county to stimulate ideas and discussion.  Other links include the opportunity to search for local schemes, upcoming events as well as information relating to NHW street signs and how to order/purchase them.
In advance of the launch, should you encounter any difficulties in accessing the website please contact socialmedia@wiltshirenhw.org
Finally, the launch of our new website and social media platforms Twitter and Facebook will NOT affect the current way in which NHW members receive Alert messages.  The work to improve our website and develop our social media profile are intended to extend the way in which our Association connects more readily with other key stakeholders such as Wiltshire Police, Our Watch and Crimestoppers who recognise the importance of social media in communicating with the wider public and stakeholder organisations.
