Information sent on behalf of Wiltshire and Swindon NHW

Message sent to NHW members in Chippenham, Calne and Corsham
The Chippenham Community Safety Group meeting was held on Tuesday 22nd March. Predominately attended by local Councillors, there are often other stakeholders represented including local Neighbourhood Police. Phil Wilkinson, Wiltshire Police and Crime Commissioner attended the meeting and was able to comment positively on work undertaken by local officers in relation to issues relating to recent incidents of ASB and the theft of bikes in and around Chippenham. An organisation known as Turning Point had representatives attend the meeting to talk about the service it provides across Wiltshire and Swindon in relation to substance mis-use.
The Crimestoppers area manager for Gloucestershire, Swindon, Wiltshire and Hampshire provided an overview of the organisation, an essential feature of which enables the public to report crime and/or suspicion of crime anonymously - Call 0800 555 111
