"Wiltshire Police could not run as effectively as it does without the fantastic support of our volunteer Special Constabulary.
In the last couple of years they have stepped up as part of a national crisis and in an operational context support our frontline operational staff effectively every single weekend. There are not enough words to express how grateful I am for each and every Special Constable that puts on their uniform and supports our Force. I am proud and truly humbled by each and every one of them’.
Supt Phil Staynings, Swindon Hub Commander, including the force Citizens in Policing Portfolio.
